DON’T LET ME FALL
SHORT BIO
Don’t Let Me Fall is an ode to letting go of our fear of the unknown. That immediate sensation following a jump into open air, your stomach drops and you become pure adrenaline. Hoping to land on our feet, this song is for the ones who train, prepare, and practice but wish for just a sprinkle of good luck.
LONG BIO
“Don’t Let Me Fall” is the precursor to Tyche’s full length record, “Welcome Home”. With our largest body of work finished and three years in the making, the preparation of release has given us a sense of hope and anxiety. We feel as though we’re climbing to the top of our expectations, but every step is a loose rock.
Saydi and Jake wrote Don’t Let Me Fall with songwriter Naomi Grandison (Los Angeles) and producer Peter Telepcak (Czech Republic) whom Saydi met while attending Stargate’s Los Angeles Academy of Artists and Music Producers. Capturing blind optimism, blending sultry guitars with powerful drops, the duo hopes to give their audience a sense of relief and relatability. Making the first jump is exhilarating, and Tyche is done hesitating.
BAND BIO
Hi! we’re Tyche- an alternative pop duo based in Long Beach, CA. We moved to California from Arizona in late 2019 and created Tyche in the depths of 2020, writing music that is honest and raw. We tend to genre-bend with cinematic elements and intensity, each song coming from intimate personal stories and our immediate emotional reactions to them.
A little background on the name, Tyche (pronounced “tie-key”) is the Greek goddess of chance, a capricious dispensor of good and ill fortune. Given our individual histories of equally good and bad luck, we thought it a fair fitting for a name.
Awaiting the debut of our first LP, “Welcome Home”, we have been collaborating with writers and producers all over the world to create a series of singles showcasing a variety of sound within our pop/alt scope. Our upcoming release, “Don’t Let Me Fall” was created alongside songwriter & pop artist, XISCA, and Czech producer Peter Telepcak. Brought together through Stargate’s LAAMP program in Los Angeles, we have collaborated on multiple songs together and will continue to do so in the future.

LYRICS
Everything seems to be going my way
Lucky I'm patiently waiting for gray
Okay
It's a sign
Gods playing tricks on my mind
Or maybe I did it all right
Don't let me fall down
I'm on unstable ground
Close to the edge now
Don't let me fall
Don't let me fall
Down
My mama says the bad happens in threes
So how do I count the good
How do I breathe
It's a sign
Gods playing tricks on my mind
Or maybe I did it all right
Don't let me fall down
I'm on unstable ground
Close to the edge now
Don't let me fall
Don't let me fall
Mama said
I'm mixing words in my head
Can't forget
the days WHEN I can't get out of bed
Maybe I
Did it all right
Did it all right
Maybe I
Did it alright
Don't let me fall down
I'm on unstable ground
Close to the edge now
Don't let me fall
Don't let me fall
Down
Don't let me fall down
Don't let me fall
Don't let me fall
Down
