Tyche (pronounced “tiekey”), is an alt rock duo based in Long Beach, California. Members Saydi Driggers and Jake Briggs met and began performing together in Phoenix, Arizona in 2017 and through various acts have shared the stage with acts such as Sir Sly, Slightly Stoopid, Sydney Sprague, Good Boy Daisy, UFO UFO and toured with High School Nation and SXSW.

Saydi is a classically trained pianist who began singing and writing at 12, playing guitar at 16 and bass at 20. She drew her influences from adult contemporary, rock and R&B but craves heavy guitars and explosive sounds. Jake has been drumming since he was 8 years old and comes from a pop punk background, dipped in the sweat soaked style of a 2000's warped tour. Previously playing in multiple bands varying from total anarchists to mainstream pop-punk, Jake and Saydi have blended their two worlds into a cinematic, percussive sound with focus on telling their stories from beginning to end.

Tyche has recently released its debut LP “Welcome Home”, a 14 song record exploring themes on mental health, breakups, self-doubt, and belonging. With their first hometown show drawing a crowd of 250, Tyche has begun making waves in Southern California.
